If its on stock shocks, they will probly need replacing seeing as its a 2 inch drop. Other then that sounds like a good deal.

it seems a little expensive, is it an SE or not?

if it has a sunroof, fog lights, factory front lip, factory rear spoiler, and 5 lug. then its good i guess. thats how much i got my car for, but that was 2 years ago.

for a super clean '96 with 80k miles i would say 7.5 is overpriced. a decent '97 can be had for that much. fair for my area would be 6-6.5k for a super clean '96. remember you don't really get to earn any money back on mods when you're selling your car (unless it's something like an SR20). if it says SE on carfax then it's probably an SE. that really doesn't mean anything though... look for the LSD sticker.

price depends on your area though... and for a rare car like a s14 if you won't overpay someone else will. it all depends on how much you want the car. good luck!

This is what I got for $7,500. I bought it about a month ago.

'97 240SX SE
98K
Manual
Ultra Red
Foglights
Power Sunroof
'' Everything
Aftermarket Wood Grain Dash(unless they cam standard)
Vinyls running from front to rear wheel
Needs A Wax Job Badly(to cold)
New Tires
New Pads & Rotors

Tear at bottom of driver side door
Seems like a gash in the passenger dash(covered up by some custom carpeting and to scared to pull it off)
Missing passenger air bag(broken into)

Hope all that info helps. If I got that for a '97 a '96 is over priced take this to him and see what he thinks about still asking 7,500.

7.5K is too much for a '96

How about this...

It all depends how much you want it and how long will it take to find another?

thats a lil expensive, be patient man there will be good deals to come. Ive been looking for my s14 for like 5 months, i finally found one in the newspaper. 96 240sx se, 75k miles. When i went to look at it, the guy said he bought all the options so vlsd, abs..etc. only 5k cash straight up. Dont buy it. others will come.

its hard to get a price on a car like that cause the blue book value (about 6k) doesn't reflect what you'll pay because of their increasing popularity
