Has anyone ever wondered why the emblems on JDM cars are written in english and not in japanese?

just like in a lot of their videogames and shopping centers n stuff, there's a lot of english. i think they learn about basic english in school though, while in the u.s. we don't really have to learn japanese.

It is a prestige thing. Just like we use french words or Japanese kangi. The grass is always greener....
