Ok so during the fall when i first got my 240 i was messing with the heater controls and I heard a clicking from behind the stereo. I had no idea what it was so i ripped it all apart and I found s nlack cylinder object with a white piece of plastic sticking out of the right side of it. The plastic is connected to a small piece of metal. when you hit a certain control it moves in different directions. So I looked at it and gave it a nudge with my fnger and it started to move and the clicing stopped.i figured it must have just gotten stuck or somthing. Now comes winter about 2 weeks ago i hear the clicking again, i repeat what i did prior in the fall but it doesnt fix the problem, i saw that a black electrical plug goes into it so i unplugged it and voila it doesnt make the noise and the ehater controls all still work.... but it seems that my heat isnt as warm as it used to be..... so what i want to know is WTF is it?? And what can I do about it....:aw:

sounds like you're talking about one of the servos that move the air controls inside the AC system. that's the only thing in the AC/heat system that would move.:D

as far as fixing goes, go to a junkyard and get a replacement one.
