Okay so the clutch pedal bracked mounts at 3 points, I'm not talking about the 2 studs that pass through the firewall. I'm having issues with the third point, the upper nut...

WTF the upper pedal bracked nut just ripped out. I guess the bolt loosened and over time it caused the tack/spot/shitty welds that hold the nut up there to tear out. Now the whole part that comes down like a U is riping apart....

I managed to get a carrage bolt in place of the nut and try and use quick steel putty to hold it in place by encasing the head of the bolt. But that shit just crumbled on me.

Any suggestions aside from pulling the dash and everything underneath and welding it all up?

You talking about the whole bracket that holds the pedal? Shit is notoriously weak, one of the reason there is a straightened NISMO version of the pedal bracket. Just buy a whole new bracket and replace the one you have. That or take it off, get it rewelded and add some more bracket to strengthen it. Either way, you're gonna have to take it off.

You know the bolt that passes through the bracket on top? Well the nut that's tacked on chassis ripped out.... Bracket is fine, I just can't mount it to anything up there.

go to a parts store and ask for a pack of 8x1.5 mm nutserts. follow the directions. if there is no directions, do this. drill the hole that was left by the broken welded nut on the chassis. the size of the drill bit you need should be written on the box of nutserts. then screw one nutsert into the included installation tool and just insert it on the hole you just drilled and tighten until it is squeezed into place tightly. remove the tool and you should have a new threaded hole for the third bolt. you have to remove the pedal and the bracket before you can drill though. good luck.
