Got a 96 KA24DE & manual swapped into a 95 automatic S14. As I expected, many extra wires on the obd 2 motor side and they don't plug into the existing car's harnesses.

Are there any tutorials out there for wiring the distributor and other harnesses? I searched and found mostly tranny swap threads (which I will also have to do). I don't have the original motor, so swapping heads is out of the question.
Any help would be great!

your s14 should be OBD II, but early models were ODB I as Ive read .

Figure only plugs that are diff are wiper motor...tps...and o2 those are the only ones that make a diff...just get a duff harness and ride out

did a 97 ka24de on a 95 s14. i used the 95 intake manifold, engine harness, and distributor.

^^ I did the same. The 97 motor I put into my 95 had a different intake manifold. I just use the original 95 intake mani with all the sensors. No problems.

isint the OBD1 s14 manifold diffrent from the 13 one?
i have a OBD1 s14 lower manifold sitting around

anyway,
when you do obd2 into s13

you need the 13 dizzy, manifold, harness and ecu. thats it
the 14 upper has no butterflys, you want them if your NA, if your turbo you dont.

easiest way is to buy a 95 harness and distributor. but if your up for it, you can try to find a wiring schematic for the engine harness for both 96 and 95. you can trace which wires go where and re-pin the harness to match the chassis harness. good luck
