1996 240sx built motor, full race 35r kit, possibly bad trans

engine/trans have 500 miles on it after being built, put 500 break in miles with the clutch grinding into third at high rpm and lost driveability after launching the car at englishtown the second time, we thought it was the clutch, sent it to exedy, it's fine they say it'll hold power and it is not the problem. mazworx believes the throw out bearing may be the issue, the clutch fork may be bent as well, I'm not sure and dont really have the money to find out what's wrong with the trans or purchase a new one.

r/t tuning put a 315whp base tune on it at 12lbs, went [email protected] the first pass with a 2.1 60 foot... car should be capable of 500whp easily 450whp... the motor is strong...

body is a little banged up in the rear, I suggest over fenders, small rust spot on the top of the passenger window, just surface rust but hasnt been fixed...

45k into the car documented.

asking 13k firm for it, I wanted 15k but if you buy a brand new trans for 1800$ you'll be fine...

reason for selling is quite simply I have to move out of my primary residence and can't afford to fix the trans problem... open to trades as well... no test drives obviously...

13k would have been the deal of a century for a car with a 100% good trans 100% good clutch and a

75$ broken axle... went to take the diff off and discovered the axle was broke in the boot - not for sale any more feel free to close.
