Ive noticed lately my injectors are are getting really loud. I THINK there may be a 255lph pump in the car, which Ive heard shortens injector life span on the OEM 370cc's. So my question is, can I upgrade to a slightly higher cc injector, even though my engine is a basicly stock setup? the only real aftermarket engine parts are the FMIC, BOV, Boost controller, and possibly an upgraded pump. And for those of you who are fuel delivery guru's, how can I truly tell my pumps a walboro 255? Am I going to have to rip the sucker out and read the engraving on it?

Deatschwerks makes a 370cc replacement for SR for a very affordable price. I run there 1000cc side feed injectors for my built sr on E85.

Quality is top notch, very easy to tune with, good spray pattern and they are also warranty and also come with a flow chart when you buy them new. Contact BG @ Enjuku Racing and he will set you in the right direction.

Here you go.

true, but another option is to get used ones and send them deatschwers to get cleaned tested. it's about 80 bucks total including shipping. i do it with EVERY motor i get for peace of mind.

(op let me know if you need a write up on their injector cleaning service)

yeah definately wont be buying used. Id just be throwing away nickles and dimes really, and running the risk of needlessly having to replace them again.

80 bucks all included is good priced. Id just rather swap them out though. But I guess the other option would be more cost eficient. To grip another set, send them in then swap when I get them back. But what kind of warranty or guarentee comes with the service?

I never had problem with second hand injectors. I had problem with new injectors (from TLF performance ... never again). I bought a set of second hand 510cc mitsu evo injectors for 80€. With a receipt from rc engineering for flow test and cleaning.

TBH, dont worry about your injector noises. If it aint broken dont fix it. Some injectors are really noisy, and it does not prevent them from working. Changing injectors results in a remap, unless you get injectors with the very same spray pattern, flow and latency ...

A fuel pump won't shorten the life of your injectors.

If a fuel pump were to shorten the life of anything it would be your FPR: Fuel Pressure Regulator.
