Too bad it's only a RACE show car. Never acually driven on a track. It was simply Welds TAS car to show what they COULD do.

no..why? only with a suck driver
he was a REALLY GOOD drifter...18s drifting on the KA? i was very impressed. very skilled driver
bad drivers eat cones regularly
good driver has great control
but everyone makes a few mistakes. but the better you get the less you off track.
cone dodging sucks.

At least it has been to the track. It just looks like a NOPI show-winning car to me. If it where a real race car ment to compete in a serious race like JGTC, autox, or time attack it would have been built diffrent.
All those fancy hinged parts add cost and complexity, most likey weight as well. The more parts a race car has the more parts that might break. Huge chrome wheels on a race car? We will just assume that they use something more practical on the track.

Did they get out first and push it into the spot.
nice looking zenki so far, hehe. that's majorly low! i don't know if i could ever bring my car so low. maybe if i could get my hands on another lip, so i wouldn't have to worry about scraping mine, hehe. but i really wanna see what the rest of the car looks like, hehe.

uhhhhhh, those hinges are necessary because the engine had to be pushed back way past teh firewall, so the front windshield could prop open...also look at the interior of the car, the exhaust layout that runs inside thru the car and out back thru the center panel, and 450+hp.....and thos Work wheels arent THAT heavy :D
go here:
http://www.weld-jp.com/
or pick up a back issue of Drift Tengoku, or was it Option 2?
anyways, i heart Signals Zenki S14

HAHA fightin words!
My opinion... why go that low? A car dropped that low will have some funky suspension geometry (can anyone say bumpsteer?). I'm sure his front lower arms are pointed upwards at this height... I don't even want to know what's going on out back hehe (the back can actually be fixed with bumpsteer links I suppose).

custom spindles maybe?? i've been looking into doing that as soon as i complete the machine shop course here at school.

Kazama style tie rod endlinks and adjustable FLCA and TC rods will solve all your bitching and moaning. Not that that S14 has those (from wat I hear its a very mild tune... basically coilovers, those wheels/tires, some adjustable arms, and a good driver).
Anyway, it was cool what Koguchi said to one inquirous soul:
"What height do you reccomend drifting at?"
"Is your car as low as it can possibly go?"
"N--"
"Go lower."
Hahaha dominated. Not that most of you reading this thread care or understand, but i just love how that sounds...

You do use Low Pro tires.......... and you stretch them! Yes, it is to eliminate sidewall flex.
And to fit really WIDE wheels inside your fender.
