So I got my car running and installed a new alternator but my 75a fuse got burned out.. Does any Have a extra 75a fuse or know where I can get one besides a nissan dealer since its 20$ for a damn fuse..

If u have a extra fuse(not burnt out) I'm willing to buy it off u as long as it works or if u can just give me one that would b awesome to help a brothaa out..

I guess the assholes that stole my car burned my alternator and fucked up the fuse

if your 75mp got burned you might have something shorting out there. need to check that before you replace it. otherwise u will just keep burning the fuse.

Make sure your wiring is correct.(Transmission harness) I can get you a couple of them but would have to ship. Was it burnt before or after the install of new alt?

No everything was good all my lights were working fine a yesterday when I put on my new alternator I started up the car and I noticed nothing was lighting up only my headlights..
It's never burned a fuse and all the wires are connected correct

I really don't have the money to ship might go to pick a part..

But anyways that's te problem I have now

grounds! grounds the more grounds the better the car will run. put at least 3 one on the intake side hot side and on the back or where is a easy place to access. if you can put more the better.

FYI I usually grab a couple when I go to PIC A PART.

240's are harder to find now a days....but the Altimas use the same motor as well as nissan trucks. So there are usually plenty of them.

PM me if you dont get a fuse.....I live a bit far but will be in CYPRESS on the 5th of Dec.

Also make sure you didn't wire the alternator backwards. And make sure on the positive wire post of the alternator that the little plastic piece that keeps your wire/connector from touching the alternator casing ;)

yup, almost always the case. make sure the fat wire that goes to the 6mm stud on the alternator is not touching the alternators body. if it`s not, the fat wire may be shorted to chassis ground. look for nicks and cuts on the harness.

I have a fuse you can have for 10 bux. I should just be able to drop it in some sort of envelope.

make sure the ground on the alternator itself isnt backwards, yes you can actually install that one backwards! it will cause that amp to keep blowing, check it just to make sure, by backwards i mean the flush flat side is facing you, that flat flush side should be against the alternator, and the crimp on the ground should be facing you
