i have so many noises i don't really know where to start..

-at idle i hear like a whistling/air noise..i was told that it might be the release bearing cuz it makes the noise when i'm just sitting there but once i step on the clutch all the way the noise doens't exit any more
-when i brake, for a few seconds there's no noise but as it starts to go longer than 3 seconds i hear a loud/heavy noise kinda like an airplane from far away..can't really describe it but it's when i break at high speeds..i have cross drilled/slotted rotors (yes, i know stupid of that i got them) but don't know why there's noise
-when turning sometimes, i hear a clunk..i found out that it was my strut mounts which were ripped becuz they were old so i replaced them with some other extra ones that weren't. After a while, those ripped too (i think it's becuz i didn't grease the bearing) but any how i replaced that with cusco camber plates which brings me to my next noise (the noise still happens once out of the blue moon with the plates)
-recently installed camber plates (cusco) with some pillow tension t/c rods (used). The camber plates are on tokico springs and kyb shocks and for some reason when i drive and go over a bump i hear a clunk sound kinda like metal rubbing on metal..i'm not too sure what it is..my friend says i need to get a washer of some sort and put it on top of the spring plate to space it since the strut mount assembly cusco made came specifically with there coil over set up..anyone can confirm on length for me? that would be great....it kinda freaks me out cuz it sounds like my suspension is about to die

If anyone can help, that will be grealy appreciated. Any ideas or things i should check for will help too. By the way, i'm installing some tein inner and outer tie rods which i think might be the cause to the steering but still don't know about the idle, braking, and camber plates..=\

As I see it, these are your possibilities:

-Springs (coils) rubbing on spring perches (nothing to worry about) -- will be present when turning, possibly when going over bumps.

-Dead ball joints w/ play -- shake all the arms with ball joints connected to them; if these are clunking then they're due for replacement and may be dangerous to drive on if they're really loose. (there should be almost no play whatsoever at ball joints!)

-Check to make sure brake lines don't rub against wheel/disc when your steering wheel's turned; make sure there are no loose parts down there

-Brake pads need anti-squeal (sometimes takes form in a hum, sometimes a squeal, anti-squeal may help)

-T/C rods aren't tightened down or the ball joints are dead. Check accordingly.

-Alignment... who knows? If you didn't get an alignment since the upper mounts or t/c rods, you NEED to get one asap.

Good luck diagnosing your problem!

I've got a nice clunk when I tap the brakes going anything over 5mph. Front right side only. Happens only going forward. Can't figure it out as I need to have the car weight shift to the front to get the noise. Really annoying. I have to figure out if its brake related or not.

check your FLCA ball joints...might be toasted.
