My first event, maybe someone took a pic of me on accident. Just want to check some out...
I didnt pass tech, my battery wasnt tied down and my intake was loose, but some last minute miracles and I passed.
Kenji from GSpeed was very nice and was the first to approach me with some tips. I let him drive my car on the skidpad, he kept bouncing it off the rev limiter:coolugh:
Naoki from club4ag was cool, I was in C group and we didnt get a chance to get any of the free food before it was gone. So he reimbursed me and Frantz for the lunch we bought.
The black sections of the course were very greasy, they were just repaved, but it only seemed to bother me on the skidpad.
The large course was very intimidating but after I ran it once I just wanted to drive on it again and again.
The only thing that bothered me were the instructors. I think they need to be a little more driver-friendly and initiate the instructing instead of us noobs having to go up and ask them to ride-along.
That being said it was a great event even with the late start, I had fun and plan on attending more events.
