I am selling a PAIR (2) of MINT SSR RS8 wheels. They are 15x7 +19. The wheels have no scratches, bends or markings. These are REAL 2 piece wheels that are ultra strong and very lightweight. They also come with JDM Dunlop Formula-R tires. I am asking 550 obo. I am in SoCal but I can ship at buyers expense. Email me at
[email protected] if interested.
PS - NO, these are NOT wats. They are SSR.

Hey!!
A few questions!!
1. What is the size of the tires?
2. What is the tire wear?
3. Would you ship to Canada? If so, how much would be shipping?
4. Do you accept Paypal?
Thanks!!! I'm very interested.
Misread you... I need 4 rims with race tires.. Sorry.

Well, the tire size is 205/60/15 with EXTREMELY stiff sidewalls. There is about 50% tread left. Very sticky tires, the hotter they get, the more they grip.

Item is already sold, but I'll make the comment anyway. In this case they very well may be SSRs. I have some RS8s that are 2 piece. The 8 spoke face is made by Watanabe and the outer lip of the wheel is made by SSR. On the back of the wheel it says RS-Eight and also Speed Star No. 4
These wheels don't appear to have the watanabe stamp on the face. I'd still think they were probably made by both companies.

Wheels are mine muahahahahaha. I'll research the bastids soon and post what I find.
By the way. I now have a 60 series tire in back and 50 series in front. With stock shocks it looks like an eighties hot rod all low in front. And being that the tires you gave me with the wheels are pretty much toast, the car goes to full drift so much easier. Before with steelies and azeniz all around, it would have to be raining to get the tail to swing out. Now I can do it and keep it out there without rain. Fun stuff, but new tires are going on soon. Maybe I'll post pics once I lower the car from it's Moab height.
Thanks Jason.

What tire pressure are you running? They shoul definatley not lose grip that easy! I ran those on the back for a few laps of grip at Buttonwillow just a month or so ago and it woud NOT loose grip. Weird. I'm glad your happy you like the wheels. Thanks again for crusing to the TWS with me!

I haven't checked the pressure since the install. Really it's a combination of worn tires and the now extreme forward rake/stance of the car. With all the weight in the front, it's now that much easier to make the rear swing out. Your car on the other hand probably had coilovers that were set up correctly, allowing for more neutral handling. It's cool though, much better suspension is coming soon.
Oh, question! For Jason or anyone. I'm taking your word for it that the wheels are actually +19 offset. My question is will I need to roll my fenders front or rear for these wheels not to rub once I lower the car with coilovers? I'm planning on tucking a 205/60/15 under the fenders or wider tire. Maybe 215/60 or 225/55 tire. Or will I need lots of camber for these tires to fit?
Thanks,
Ant

Renee,
No need to take my word that they are +19 offset, its stamped on the back of the wheels just take a gander. Also I doubt that you will have to roll fenderes because I had 205/60/15 up front with no camber and the car was slammed. It fit perfect, nice and flush.

Cool man. It's just that the tires are sticking out of the fenders right now. I know I'll gain some neg camber once coilovers are installed, but from the looks of it, it seems I need a lot of camber if I don't roll or pull fenders. The wheels are currently on the rear of my coupe, and they really stick out with factory camber settings. I don't want to use anything smaller than a 205 tire.
So I should be okay once I lower the suspension?
Thanks,
Anthony

If you remember how low my car is, that would yeild a -2 deg of camber on the stock suspension. That should definatley tuck away. However you could always use a bat to push up that little lip inside the fender and that actually gives a lot of room. I can help you do it if you like. Can you measure how many mm the tire sticks out past the fender right now??

The tire sticks out roughly 10mm from the fender.
Thanks truly for offering to help rolling the fenders, but honestly if I do that, I'd rather get them pulled a little at the same time. I'm planning on runnining the widest possible tire with only a slightly pulled fender.
As I recall, your front fenders were rolled, but not pulled right? Your rears were though. I'm thinking of doing the exact same thing. The RS8's will go to the front eventually to make room for wider 16's in back.
Does Dousan still have his fender rolling machine?

My fronts are actually not rolled, but they will when I have the new wheels on. My rears are pulled A LOT, i think like 1.5". Aaron (Dousan) did a great job, but it did take a while. He does still have the roller but I think he is really busy lately. Send him a PM to see if he can do your as well.
