Point is just to see what people like most and just like someone else said its all personal preference... I know how to build my cars but I also like building them to sell them. I like my RB26 powered S13. But looking to build one next year to drift and then sell... But thanks for your input but have a great day:)

I personally think whatever siutes you is what you should strive for. If you have the funds for a crazy build then LS1 or a 1JZ/2JZ swap is ideal. but if your in a budget then best option would be SR20/KA-T/RB20 swaps...
You have the choice to do whatever you wana do. Dont let others choose for you.

Ok but RB26 has a lot of potential but seems that not that much people want to pay 25K for a 240 with a LS swap and I really dont want to build a car and be stuck with it. I want to build something and then be able to sell it...
Like not to long ago I saw a 240SX with a 2jz and the guy was only asking $10500. Its a big loss because the swap alone is around 15K.

Regardless of what what motor you choose, it will be a money pit and sometime along the way your going to realize you should have just bought a 350z.
If your on a budget go with a sr20det if not ls1

My personal opinion from worst 1 to 5 stars one being worst 5 being best.
SR's ARE played out I know they are good motors and are drop in but if your gonna do a swap do something thats unique. i give it * * *
RB i like them because they are just all around good power plants i give this swap. * * * * *
1jz or 2jz i consider them in the same category they are good engines and fun and have a huge amount of room for HP for what ever you want its possible i say * * * *
LS is the least of my favorite, if you want alot of power with out the creativity then go ahead. Now i know people will say "are you kidding it takes alot of creativity for the frame work etc" but in my opinion its still the easy way out instead of building an engine to perform. Lets try to keep some of the drift cars on the track with japanese power plants.. every video i see its like this LS swapped 240, and it got old about 2 years ago. *
VQ's.... well they are kind of in the middle of creativity. I do find it interesting but i have seen alot of them done but they do perform so i must say this gets * * *
CA this engine in my opinion is not really a powerhouse considering its soo small, But i do think they are decent engines for just having a turbo daily driver. and you do not see too many of them on the road. * * * *

What are the parameters for 'best' swap you're looking for???
-Easiest to swap (for a fat/skinny man...short/tall man...weak/strong man...or a cripple like me...??)
-Reliability
-Easy access to quality aftermarket or OEM replacement parts
-Cheapest (to rebuild, to source, to replace, to modify...)
-on..and on...and on...and on...
Without making these clear in your original post... what do you expect?

to the OP, do a subaru sti engine swap, it requires just a little bit of cutting and JB welding but nothing someone of your caliber couldn't handle

if you're after street cred, screw V10s, go with a jag xjs V12 running half a dozen downdraft webers

Not really, for civics they are kind of forced to only run honda engines where as us FR guys can run nearly any type of engine we want if we know how to do fab work.
