First off im sorry for adding another one of these threads on here but my problem is a bit different and ive read all the other ones and searched around to get some ideas but still would like some input....

Redtop sr20: I got a new battery and everything was good for a couple weeks and now everytime i start the car it starts right up and then slowly boggs down and dies after like 3 minutes. When i go to start it back up it doesnt have enough juice to even move the seatbelts all the way back. So to get it started i jump the battery (relocated to trunk) and its good to go. I tried the "alternator test" by removing the negative terminal while the car is running and it dies instantly so my guess is the alternator ?????

Any help is appreciated

use a voltmeter to check battery voltage while engine is running. if the voltage is lower than 13.7 or something like that, alternator is bad. remove the alternator and have it checked at any of the parts store that offers free testing.

no need to remove it and have it checked. That's pita. Grab a voltmeter, and test the alternator yourself. Chances are, you just have a bad ground from your alternator.
