Sorry to be a bit of a troll and make my first post a simple question but I'd appreciate the help.

Im in the process of ordering a 9003/H4 35w 6000k HID kit for a s14 Zenki.

I read that some cars (mostly jap cars) don't have a thick enough gauge of wire to run HID's and so using a HID wiring harness is necessary to prevent them from shutting off or flickering.

Do the s14 models have sufficient wiring to avoid having to order the extra wire kit. I know it's only 15 bucks more but money is money.

I've done both. I've run my HIDs on the stock wiring with no relay and never had any issues doing that for over 6 yrs. On my last 2 cars, I've run relays just for shits and giggles. Honestly, wont hurt to run relays.

on my 1st 510 i had to make a harness w/ relays, on my S13 i just decided to hardwire my HID's into the head light harness. I had to do it on my 510 because of the old wires and not enough amps on the system to power up the HID's so i gave it it's own 12v source. After rewiring the 510 6 months ago i decided to change up the headlight relays and re-do 90% of the electrical in the car now the HID's are hardwired as well drawing it from the new headlight relay.
