Been seeing this all over different random forums...

ECU Streaker 11/05/11 - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbjSK2GQolQ)

Lots of people are talking about civil suits, and trying to get the DA to raise the charges to a felony so he has to become a registered sex offender. Some people think it was an attack against the military, others think it was a dumbass trying to get 15 seconds of fame... he didn't know any better imo... Honestly, he's not the smartest guy...look at this interview and see for yourself;

Cliffs:
Kid streaks at ECU game. Just so happens to be during a military appreciation ceremony. Kid gets tackled/arrested. Kid just so happens to be a dude I used to live/work with. Kid gets 5+ interview requests, hundreds of bitches trying to give him neck/let him cut up them guts, is a God on a campus he doesn't go to, etc. in 4 days. Also made NC look like the new Florida...

The fact that they even contemplate making it a felony is what makes me lose respect.

He streaked, so what.

The kid should have known better than to do it during a military appreciation ceremony, but pushing for him to become a registered sex offender!? Thats just ridiculous.

I think it's fucking awesome that they're making a big deal out of it. Maybe my friend will get famous and get a dumb TV show called Streakers and i'll be able to be the next Rake Yohn.

On a serious note, I didn't expect my friend to get any publicity whatsoever. Somehow he did though, so that's cool. "Ego boosts are part of my main diet, so are ego waffles"

I do think it should be a felony and he has to register as a sex offender...if there were kids there. Apple/grapes. Say you have a daughter and she is young and some man shows her his Johnson, would that be worthy of a felony or would you just say he is only naked what's wrong with that?

1. I would never take my child to an ECU campus...EVER. Especially to a sporting event. That's just bad parenting. Things like this aren't uncommon at ECU.
2. I understand, exposing yourself to a child isn't appropriate, but my parents taught me that if you're in a locker room to not look anywhere near dicks...same premise goes with this scenario, except the dick was hundreds of yards away, so even if they didn't look away, i doubt they could make anything out.

I'm not a judge, and we're all entitled to our own opinion.

So since something was done...somewhere...probably not even in the same jurisdiction, that means it should set principal? Have you even read or considered the requisites required to become a sex offender?

Urinating in public in NC can't be punished with registering into the sex offender database. Either day, or all my friends who've gotten caught peeing outside of car shows/concerts/clubs got really really lucky.

Shit, sex offender registration is also used the wrong way. I've heard of stories of 19 yr olds, dating 16-17 yr olds get charged with sex crimes. Funny thing is that they end up marrying the chick and 15 yrs later, still a registered sex offender.

Around my parts 16 is the legal age of consent. If you're 15 or younger I think you can date someone within 3 years of your age.
