After doing this, I've concluded that your statement was to patronize my ability to interpret 'for sale' ads. Here is my retort :

I understand that you want us to believe that the engine was rebuilt, but you don't have any proof. If you really want to sell a mostly stock hatch for $3,000 - you're going to have to at least make it more convincing by at least posting what was rebuilt or replaced as well as back it up with proof.

You even later posted that this claimed was from your friend who you decided to 'trust' without verification via paperwork. This makes everything a lot less believable.

When you mention that it was rebuilt, it got my hopes up a bit but I am sorry - if you do not have proof other than what you are able to write, then I am going to have to search elsewhere. Again, good luck with your sale. If you do happen to find receipts of the rebuild with VIN verified, I will gladly be able to pay out $3,000 for this car depending on the extent of the maintenance.
