Ok so I have a multitude of symptoms and I know they may be unrelated, but figured a combined post would keep it clean/simple.

I was going to put down my symptoms ~ please feel free to offer your expertise/opinion and a possible solution. [Will try to put as much detail as possible.]

Patient - 1991 240sx coupe

1) High pitched squeaks while driving. When going over the usual bumps, potholes, etc ~ I get a high pitched squeaking.

I can also re-create the noise when closing my doors (while parked).

I'll close the door, then *squeak*

My estimate is that its something related to the manual window regulator and the window's are just loose. Will pull off the panel, but just wondering if anyone has also had this issue?

2) Lights out on the left side of my Guage Cluster

I know that the "check engine" light is supposed to light up when starting, but it doesn't do that anymore. None of the lights on the left side, under the gas guage are lighting up, neither is the clock (under the tach) when the headlights are turned on.

The right side notification lights still work (ebrake, door open, etc) and the tach/temp guage still work.

Since the wiring's all together, is it as simple as the bulbs burning out? [Just odd that they're all going at the same time.]

3) Gas Gauge ~ its wonky and doesn't show "full".

My guess is that the baffle in the gas tank broke (during my last drift event) and its messing w/ the float mechanism.

Not sure if its related to #2 since it is also on the left side of the malfunctioning gauge.

4) Speedometer goes all over the place occasionally

Just replace the speed sensor? Or is it related to #2 also?

5) Glove Box Light died on me

The bulb seems fine, but the wiring seems "iffy" as I have to shake/move the wiring to get the light on/off. That doesn't work now so I'm guessing there may be a short somewhere?

I'd rather not take the dash apart to find this out and I wonder if its part of problem #2 also?

Feel free to chime in on any/all of them. I feel that some are related (as expressed in my assessment/notes) but look forward to resolving them all.

Thanks in advance!
