Im looking at putting an RB25 in my hatch late next year. Issue im having now is that my exhaust sounds like crap and needs to be changed (leaks etc). I know the RB will require a larger exhaust and dont really want to buy twice. Will a larger exhuast 2.5 or 3in be to much for the KA. The car is daily driven for now so no racing or worrying about performance all that just as long as the car runs smoothly.

No it's fine. Use a silencer with the can fart or a modest exhaust tip.

Asking ground breaking questions.

Im going with the BRM dual tip exhaust. If the 2.5 will be ok for the RB then i will get that with the 22in resonator if not the 3in with the 14in resonator.

Your rb will like 3 so much more.

Had 80mm on my KA. Unless you get a straight pipe like exhaust then it's not gonna ricer levels of annoyance. Just replace your gasket. Don't muffle an RB...

Muffle the KA, it'll be so annoying.
