2,000 dollars for a turbo setup that's on its way out with 70,000 miles?!

I don't understand this.

1,100 for the turbo BRAND new
400 for a tune
300 dollars for injectors
100 for BRAND new oil/coolant lines
50 for manifold

= 1,950$

That turbo will be on it's way out very soon, and BB turbos aren't rebuildable, so the customer is out 1,100 bucks.

I'd ask for 1100 obo my man. No way you will get anything above that. Not with the way Zilvia is now.

Free bump for you though.

Thanks for the offer man but we both know that is unreasonable and im gonna have to decline.

There is little if any shaft play what so ever actually

make me a reasonable offer and i might even grace you with the video you so desire.

please take your hate elsewhere :)

id take that 750 and run

just gonna leave this here

ball bearing turbos cannot have any type of shaft play. shaft play means its on its way out. they run on silicon carbide ball bearings. the balls and the inner race is made of SiC. Once you have shaft play, aka balls in the bearing starting to wear and create clearance, its a slippery slope to eventual failure.

Forgive the noob question, but why does 65k miles automatically mean it's going out soon?

It's not really the mileage. It's the fact that he's asking brand new prices for a VERY used product. I could understand 10k miles, even 20k miles, and knock a few hundred dollars off the price.

If you look at my breakdown though, he is asking MORE than what it would cost to buy each of these parts brand new. Yes, it does say OBO, and yes 750 might be a tiny bit low, but the point I'm trying to make is that these turbos sell for 800 bucks used all day with like 5k miles on them. He's asking 1200 for the turbo with 14x the mileage of a lightly used one.

Beyond that, these turbos aren't ran at 7-10 psi like stock turbos are. They are ran way up at 18-20+ psi, which is a lot harder on a turbo over its lifetime.

you need to go bum in someone else's thread duders.

This is my for sale thread for my stuff for my obo price as stated above.

Not your opinion of how my turbo was ran and complaining of my price thread.

Z32 MAF ($100), ECU ($200), tune ($400), 650cc injectors ($300), turbo ($800), manifold ($25), inlet ($50), outlet ($100), lines ($100) = $2,075 - This was my thinking.

I'm trying to scoop up a car and could use the money from this to put towards it so...

$1,250 takes it all. Plug and play 300rwhp+ is waiting for someone....
