Sounds really cool. The only thing that was "ehh" to me was the "Street Class" tire rating being so low.
280 or higher would make it a more challenging and leveled Street Class.

It would appear to be really restrictive for dudes that just want to hit the track and have fun.

140 tire rating is standard across not only autocross street tire classes, but every single other TA series...

The QTQG rating has nothing to do with creating a level playing field...

not to argue too much into it... but UTQG does have something to do with playing field. that number determines longevity. R comps don't last a long time, so making the utqg above a normal uhp summer tire, that would limit the tire. I'm sure one brand will probably stand out the most, but you can't compare a UTQG 100 to a UTQG 780 (780 being a hwy designed tread). The UTQG of 100 IS a race minded tire.

I'm sure Extreme Speed could do something that allows people with swapped cars into certain classes like Redline Time Attack did. Email them.

Example: SR into a 240sx. Street Class car but NOW the sr has to be stock. Somewhere along those lines.
