well i swapped in a new-to-me ka24de and the idle will not stay steady and will bobble between 700-1000 while stopped in neutral and its rough. i can look at the car and see it shaking. while im driving, if i put it in neutral to coast to a stop or down a hill, it will stay right at 1500 until i stop and wont drop for about 5 seconds. i dont have a/c. it drives fine, no bogging or hesitations. i checked my plugs this morning and 3&4 are fine but number 1's electrode is smaller than 3&4 and my number 2 plug electrode is smaller and had some sludge on it. none of them smelled like gas nor did they have oil residue on them so i cleaned them and put them back in. now im stumped.

things ive done:

cleaned maf
cleaned throttle body
cleaned iacv
checked and cleaned the ground
new oil filter, air filter, and fuel filter
new coolant system and flush (radiator, water pump, all hoses, etc...)
plugs and wires have less than 500 miles
warmed the car up and disconnected the tps sensor and tried to adjust the idle; its all the way in and won't idle below 800rpms.

i've done some other things but i cant remember them all. any help would be appreciated.

My car does the same thing it has a slight rough idle it moves from 850-700 rpm. It only does it when its warmed up. I think its either a vacuum leak or the ignition timing. It kinda sounds like its misfiring a little bit when the rpm drops.

You didnt search hard enough. This question has been asked over 100+ times.

Google " site:zilvia.net " and type whatever after to help your search.

Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak somewhere. Check around that intake with some starter fluid and see if you can find a change in your idle. IF you do, you probably have a leak.
