boost problem

my brother has an eclipse and we just put manual boost controller on it and when we accelerate real quick (like 13psi) the car starts to shake and the boost goes up and down from 10-13psi any ideas?

the place we bought it from gave us bad instructions cause they're idiots, but now that it's working it made a huge difference and for $20 it's probably one of the cheapest and easiest (once you figure it out) mods.
