As the title says but fitment wise. Would an s14 with an s13 SR be a lot of problems in the long run? Am I better off just finding an s14 with a ka that belongs in the s14 chassis? And also are s13 SR's pretty common in the s14 chassis?

Edit: forgot about the questions thread.

s13sr has a t25 turbo, high port intake manifold.

s14sr has a t28 turbo, low port intake manifold, variable valve timing, and a better valve cover design.

I just want to know about the fitment. Should I just look for ann s14 ka or will the s13 SR be alright?

I listed the only differences. Everything else including fitment is pretty much the same.

What do you mean when you say fitment??? because both engines are the same just with slight differences, Zar already noted those, but we all know that SR engines fit like a glove on S chassis, they fit right in!!! its up to you, do u want a truck motor that will need rebuilding, or do you want some good reliable turbo goodness!!!

I didn't think there was a difference with fitment until somebody told me they had an s13 SR in one of their 240's and they had nothing but problems with it. He said he would rather have a s14 ka in the car than taking a chance with a s13 SR
