Ok guys i searched and found some random answers but im still confused and not 100% clear. I know you guys are very knowledgable about this kinds of stuff so I decided to get help here.

Anyway, I have a 96 se and my KA is starting to leak oil and valve seals are done. So i purchased a 93 KA and trans with a turbo kit to go along with it to replace my old motor.

My questions are can I swap the 93 KA-T with s13 enthalpy tuned ECU into my car using my orinigal harness? or do i have to swap harnesses which is no big deal because I have s13 harness also.

Also Do I take the s14 intake manifold and put it on the s13 ka?

and lastly is it better to just reuse the s14 tranny so that i wont have to drill a hole for the CAS if i use the s13 trans.

I would appreciate anyone who will clear this up for me and give me advice so I can start my first swap soon.

2nd yes swap manifolds

I thought if you went down to obd1 you didn't have to swap the intake manifolds?

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

You want to keep your s14 intake manifold and tranny so you dont have to mess with your engine harness. This will make your engine changeover simpler. The stepdown harness is just an adapter to run an S13 ECU on an S14. GL!
