well being close to christmas my car was detecting i had a build up of excess cash. It was jealous that i was going to be getting my family Xmas presents so it decided to show its displeasure by causing the rear driver caliper to stick on hard enough to make the brakes smoke all the time.
the little bolts that get rusty and hold your brake line fittings into the calipers that is... these are called banjo bolts?
the last time i ever changed a caliper and had to remove these they broke. Rusted to hell. Hard to replace (for the car I did it on)
do you have to change these when you take the caliper off? will a new set of factory calipers have banjo bolts? any tips to get these 11 year old probably very rusty bolts out?
Also, any surprises I should look for when doing by back brakes? (cept for the minus 20 degrees its going to be outside here tomorrow.....)
