im looking for the quietest muffler, and gain more performance
nothing bigger than a 2.5 inch
i heard the Magnaflow is the quietest and great performance. Does anyone know the Style or Series? im looking for a dual tip stock look.
if non of this works im gonna be forced to go back to a stock set up, since i dont want tickets for loud exhaust
thanks in advance for any help, you can give

+1 for you mr. pacotaco :D. In california, any aftermarket exhaust is legal anyway. You're best off with stock.

you said a quiet exhaust.. if you're running a n/a ka and you don't want it to be any louder just keep the stock one. any performance gains you get with an exhaust aren't gonna be very noticeable, the only REAL reason why you would want a new exhaust is for a different/louder sound. I drove my car for 2 years in california and was pulled over 3 times for my exhaust, I have a ka and I don't notice any performance gains from it except MAYBE after 5k, but when do you see that besides a track? look into some ISIS dual 4" straight pipes, those are pretty quiet.
EDIT: in your first post you said you wanted to maintain performance... what performance are you trying to maintain? the 80 thundering whp that your 20 year old race bred ka has?

Good advice and my bad i meant gain performance not maintain becuase there would be no reason to for a new exhuast

I currently have a header, test pipe, and 3" exhaust (hks hi-power) on my car with an emissions delete. Like I said, it sounds cool but that's pretty much it. I also got all that stuff for free so I can't complain lol.
Here's a terrible video of what it sounded like before I went and dropped my distributor on the floor :( I had a 248 intake cam in it so that's where the lopey idle came from.

Do you feel any more power or more torque
pacotaco345

If anything I have less torque down low, and I don't know if you can feel it when you drive but the ka has a pretty noticeable power dropoff after about 5.5k, with a bigger exhaust that dropoff isn't as bad though its definitely still there. The effects an exhaust has on an n/a ka are almost un-noticeable, unless its a built motor.

My HKS Hi-Power is VERY Quiet.... A Little TOO Quiet for my taste. And this is with a gutted Catalytic converter too.

Im running a tanabe cutback with stock headers and a testpipe to me it'd quieter than all mu other setups and a lot of others than I heard.. I heard nothing but that the isis pipes are very loud. Look on youtube and listen to different exhaust until you find the one of your likening...Srry for grammer issues my phone is gay.

Mines just the 3" muffler welded to a custom 3" pipe, I don't have a resonator on the car or anything so its pretty loud.

plus 1 for the 3 inch straight pipe with a muffler. I'm running a magnaflow 50 series on my 3 inch straight pipe with a test pipe. quiet low rumble nothing raspy or obnoxious.
