yo has anybody here have any trouble mounting the godspeed fmic onto a 92 coupe silvia front end? if you have one succuessfully mounted onto a silvia front end please post some pics. i seriously do not see ANY spots for the 2 bottom brackets and the 2 top brackets i think would make the intercooler sit to low (where the horns were originally mounted) therefore not making the pipings fit. ill try to get some pics asap

i have a fairly large godspeed intercooler with my silvia front and it was a pain to mount. im not using the bottom mounts. only the tops i made metal elbow pieces that just mount to the bottom whole for the headlight mounts. i could get you a pic tomorrow once i get to my shop.

that would be greatly appreciated. i know what you are talking about! the bottom mount of the headlights was where i originally was thinking of mounting it but i was a little hesitant about it...also it would seem it will be sticking out below the bumper as well unless i angle it in? not quite sure yet but i will see..

None of the cheap kits directly bolt on ur going to have make new holes on the headlight bracket for the two top mounts never used Godspeed kit but from pictures it looks like the cxracing one I'm using on my car. I'd the two top brackets like a two way L shape

yeah i was hoping to take a route without to much modification to make it fit but i guess i will have to do things the hard way since i went cheap with the intercooler :wiggle:

Big long zipties fixes everything lol dude it's not that bad mounted my intercooler in less then a hour the only problem I run into was the jdm kouki bumper where it needed trimming to fit or u can do what the other guy Said weld the top bracket instead of drilling new holes

I heard anything godspeed automatically should fit flush with this. http://synthesizingeducation.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Garbage-Can.jpg

so as long as your car looks like trash and performs like it you're good to go. Just change the bag and enjoy the drifto
