Yesterday morning I noticed that my pedal kinda skakes up and down (like tapping the bottom of my foot when I take off from a traffic light. It doesn't do it on reverse, only when I take off. Its a sr20det blacktop on a hachback. I bought nismo mount about 6 months agao and I have solid front mount on my j30 diff. The pedal is bolted down right so idk whatelse it could be? Thanks to anybody that might know

Is your engine misfiring? And is it only the gas pedal that vibrates? Or do other things on the car vibrate or make noise as well?

I do have a lil misfire, hardlt noticable, I have a staight I guess that's why I can hear the small POP, I kinda seems like it shakes a bit behind the dash. If I rev it kinda high when I take off it won't do it

Does the shaking only occur while you begin engaging the clutch but goes away after you are fully rolling forward and your foot is off the clutch pedal?

Well what it sounds like you are describing is a rough clutch engagement condition. This could be caused by a couple things: An aftermarket clutch kit which would have a very stiff pressure plate (which is what actually presses the clutch disc to the flywheel). Or it could be a warped flywheel, where what essentially what would be happening is part of the flywheel would be almost hitting your clutch disc, causing a vibration. Or it could be a bad transmission mount or engine mounts. Or it could be you have solid or polyurethane, which if thats the case, the reason why you have rubber mounts is rubber absorbs most of the harsh vibrations from your drivetrain, but since its gone most of the vibration is transferred to the cabin.
So if its really a big concern to you, take it to a mechanic and have him check it out, just to make sure your car isn't gonna shake apart someday lol.

Damn I replaced the clutch and resurfaced the flywheel when I bought the motor 3 months ago so I hope that's not the problem, my clutch engagement feels fine and the car runs awesome as well. I hope its not a flywheel related problem. If it is, would it get worse over time? Any other input is greatly appreciated
