too bad its used though. even if it says 95% used i sitll wouldn't trust them. they might be even blown, depends on how hard it was driven. i would put the extra moeny in a set of new ones.

Hmmm....if they arent secretly jacked up...thats a decent price for those....but.....you need to get a shipping quote also. Are they shipping from overseas or is that company shipping from the states??

I look at that site and question the rating scale they use as it applies to coilovers. There may be a set of coilovers that are almost ready to blow....but...if they are cleaned up REALLY NICE and made to look new....does that mean they get a 90%+ rating?? I guess my point is, get some background info on what they came off of and who had them before and for how long. Also price out how much the company (tein in this case?) charges to rebuild the coilovers and if they are a "rebuild friendly" company for people in the states.

For that price, you could however be a "guinnea pig" test subject for those "Mookeh" Korean coilovers that are now showing up on ebay ($599 buy it now). Also there was a company that had brand new Apexi World sport coilovers going for like $600-ish plus shipping on ebay I believe. I dont know if they still have sets on there or not.

I have seen HAs go for 500. It is hard to trust used coils. I know a bunch of success stories though, more than I know bad stories, but I guess seeing them in person might help.

Another good thing to think about is how much will it cost for a rebuild, if it adds up to be less than brand new coils then go for it.
