Ok i will try to explain the best i can.
when ever i do sharp turns or even a u turn i here a clunk clunk clunk from the rear mainly the right side more so than the left.
i went under there and everything looks good, except if i grab the CV shaft and move it in and out(insert joke here:cj:) i here a slight clunk.
Maybe the bearings in the CV are dry and need grease or are there different lengths shafts?
could it be that the shafts are to short and when i turn they come out of the CV "pocket"?
If i loosen the bolts at the CV and diff 5 total at each side JUST TO TEST it doesnt sound so loud, maybe wrong length shaft?
:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
The joints are 5 star style single bolts at the diff.
The rearend is supposed to be LSD but not confirmed.
Tein adjustable shocks
all bushings look good.nothing loose.
Going straight no noises what so ever.
If you need more info to maybe help me let me know....Thanks

Plunged CV joints should do that(Well a slight clunk). But I'm not sure if outboard CV joints on S13 are plunged type. Someone should confirm this.

If you do have an LSD it might be that(But again it's suppose to do that specially at slow speeds and turns). That doesn't explain why you only hear it on the right though.

Are the joint booths fine? Check the inner CV joint booths too. Could be a number of things good luck

check the axle nut tightnesS and also check the wheel bearings. I had the very same issue and my tire wear was really bad. Lift the car up and check to see if the whole hub moves with the tire. If it does its either a bad wheel bearing or the axle nut isnt tight enough. JUST A THOUGHT.

i could be a diff too. Something in the rear end could be shifting or maybe the subframe is shifting. I would also say check the diff.

check your subframe bushings??

Yeah it definitely could be subframe bushings. Another way to tell if the bushings need to be replaced is letting the clutch out quickly after a shift. The sudden drop in engine speed will jolt the subframe and bad bushings will make a loud clunk.

There's no way your axles are "too short". The z32 N/A has 5 bolt axles that are too long for s-chassis, and trust me you'll never get those to fit. I tried. They must be j30, or 180sx, which both fit fine. Your LSD might just be beat to hell, but then again it would probably whine too.
