I would post a link to the suspension thread in tech talk followed by a facepalm, but seeing that tech talk is closed this thread will have to do.. If you want the best STEERING response run - camber and toe out up front..

Is the steering response really that noticeably better?

It takes 15-30 minutes and is quite easy. I think most people just are not aware of it, so they do a lot of unnecessary work such as removing the steering column. :)

S14's do not have the steering bushing.
On S13's, remove these two bolts.

And these two nuts.

Then wiggle this section out. It helps to loosen the steering rack mounting bolts to get more play.

Replacing the bushing itself is self-explanatory. Reuse all the spacers as on the stock bushing.

Reconnect and tighten everything. Voila. :)

There u have it pics are nice. I never pulled it from the firewall side, I pulled the shaft from the rack and that was a pita. And Yes I noticed quite a big difference, its crazy how car you can move and wiggle the rod with oem bushings. The spacer makes it so solid!

someone building a 240 for something other then drifting, hmn something isnt adding up here.
i just got back from the dragon and i ran my coupe on pbm coils all the rest was stock suspension and some falken azeins and it was great. i wore the tires out kinda quick. i would try adjusting you camber and toe as mentioned, basically just mess around with diffrent settings till you find what you like.
