Not sure if this is in the proper section so if not feel free to move mods. But i have an sr20det s13 that i just built. Have been driving for about 3 weeks and she has been running PERFECT. The other night i noticed it started to breakup a little after 10 psi. Would go strong to 10 then it sounded like an ignition breakup. Checked the plugs and they were black and oily so I picked up a set of bkr7eix or whichever the NGK iridium one step colder plugs are and now the car is breaking up all thru the powerband. Plugs were gapped to .28 and .30 neither of which made a difference. Went back to the original plugs and the problem persists. At a standstill the car runs perfect, fires on all four injectors plugs and coils. As soon as its under load it breaks up terribly almost instantly... Tried cleaning the maf as well and it seems as all my couplers are tight, and all vacuum lines seem to be in in tact. Car does stall as well. constantly now and it never did before. BOV is not recirc at the moment but this stalling problem didnt exist until the breaking up. and compression was tested as well perfect across the board

setup is

gt2871r
enthalpy tune
740cc injectors
z32 maf

Maybe timing is off or a bad cas?

Make sure the injectors aren't leaking or stuck open. Also, unless it's a brand new harness, go through and look for breaks in the harness

If it's not a boost leak, I would try replacing your ign coils or harness. I had a problem breaking up at higher RPMs and I had a coil or two that were bad...

I would do a boost leak test, I had similar syptoms and I found out my bov was leaking like a bitch

Vacuum leak or a CAS issue. Is the car hard to start?

Also, gap the plugs tighter.... .025 maybe.

coils maybe. def get rid of iridium plugs.

THe iridium plugs will be fine for the application.

boost leak test does help to reveal more issues, at idle the car has no load and so thats good it idles ok, but does little to diagnose. With the 2871 i have heard of people using the stock charge pipe(the rubber one) and at high boost its being sucked close causing the vehicle to starve for air and break up. Check to see if the large metal spring is still inside your charge pipe.
I know u have z32 maf so hopefully you replace the charge pipe to fit better
