I remember the first time I had a McRib. It was pretty tasty. Went back for another one a few days later and threw up almost immediately after eating it. I think my stomach was confused the first time I ate it. Second time, the old belly let me know for sure that it did NOT like that shit.

Bottom was the McRib bun and patty with the McChicken and Double Cheeseburger on top. It fit pretty well. Taste was decent, the McRib was way overpowering the other flavors for me. Definitely felt the arteries clogging up for this one.

It makes sense that the Mc Rib would be over-powering.
The sauce is just too sweet.
I would also be weary of using too much bread.
Any sandwich or burger with an off bread to meat ratio never quite works imo.

What I would do is buy 2 McRib's
Use both Mc Rib patties on top of ea. other.
Use raw onions.
that's one element sure to hold up against the robust McRib flavors.
The crunchiness of the onions will give some contrast the McRib's offensive rubbery texture.

Use the buns from one of the sandwich & discard the other.
Make up for the lack of starch by throwing a modest amount the fries inside the sandwich
(like a sloppy joe).

You know everyone says that after working at McDonalds you will never eat their food again, and.......it's true.

They actually just stopped letting workers get salads for their free meal. I thought they wanted workers to eat healthy? I guess not anymore.

The smell of the McRib overpowers anything in the store by far. It makes you gag with an occasional dry-heave. The work is absolute bullshit as well. But I didn't come in here to cry. I just want to warn people that eating at McDonalds is a very serious matter and not to be taken lightly..... your arteries and cholesterol levels, ect, ect, ect, ect, will thank you.

The salads were actually surprisingly good though.

Cholesterol has a lot to do with genetic factors as well.
A good deal of the population are biologically pre-disposed to higher cholesterol.
The best thing to do is really have regular check-ups and be willing to change your lifestyle.
In the grand scheme of things, eating a couple McRibs a year isn't going to make a difference.

I eat very unhealthy, with at least 3-4 hamburgers a week (rarely fast-food though).
The last time I ate at home was a year and half ago.
I help out at a warehouse but almost never exercise.
Still, I do medical check ups twice a year & I'm always fine.
