i don't expect anyone to reply to this, i just feel like venting and typing.

bleh. internet access was taken away at work, it sucks can't keep up as much so i can only post from home. anyways my plans are to leave the office environment and hit the open road, rolling on 18 wheels. yup. i'm going to be a trucker. and i'll wear a flannel shirt with the sleeves cut off and wear a blue and white mesh hat and paint lil jim on the side of my truck. ok i won't go that far. but i'm realllllly planning on being a trucker. i love driving long trips. i used to drive with my cousin in his 4x4 to deliver machinery from st. louis to new orleans, iowa, illinois, and pittsburgh, and we'd switch out driving...    now my cousin works as a used car salesman making lots of money, and he says truckers come in and buy 1-2 year old vettes with CHECKS, no financing, and the guys he's talked to make 60-80k a year. i know those guys have probably been in it for a while and are always away from home but i was thinking of starting off with the shorter trips, and still having time at home.

i won't be making 80k a year doing that but how much money would i need to build a monster 240sx? shit. i could work 3 months and have everything done! so far i'm sticking with the SOHC (see, shocks ya doesn't it). but i may buy another 240sx depending on how much money i'd be making and have a VG30DETT installed (supposedly it's been done but a goofy looking 3" raised hood needs to be made, but i'd use it for drag racing) but if not, i can always go for a SOHC single turbo 300zx engine, that's been done.

i could stay at my job now making only $9 and have a totally rebuilt engine with T4 by the end of summer. or i can work for a trucking company for a year and have a couple 240sx's totally fixed up with paint, body kit, wheels. then quit my trucking job so i can stay at home more, and work at McDonalds to pay for insurance, rent and gas. hehe woudn't that be some shit. &quot;#### dude where you work?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>&quot; &quot;Micky D's why?&quot;

well i'm done typing now. seeya

from what i hear, if you don't have your own rig, the pay is shit. What would scare the #### out of me, as a trucker, is driving in cramped areas...i see big ass 18 wheelers get stuck all the time in traffic, without enough room to take turns and such.

yeah, that thought is scary. i always feel bad for the trucker guy that has the cop redirecting traffic because he couldn't make the turn. &nbsp;i'd probably do 90% highway driving so i could deal with a little bit of driving on the street. &nbsp;but i guess it will take time and experience to make the tough turns, and the guys who get stuck probably took a chance, instead of taking 5 extra minutes to turnaround and go the other way.

i didn't know that, about owning your own rig. i have to check into that and see how much i'd get for using a company truck.

i`m getting my Trucking license over here bud.
Its useful to have your own truck cos companies like to contract you out while the works there and drop you when its not.
You will still get loads of work though using the companys vehicles.
Just might have to lie about experience at first.
