Someone identify this Nissan Car..

I have no idea what it is. My dad took a pic of it in Toronto, had Venesuela plates. I looked and cant find anything...Is it a Stagea?

There was no obvious badging on the car cept the nissan emblem

Primera ? :confused: thats not a USDM car is it ?I've never seen any shit like that before,what kind of power is that thing putting down ? what engine? RWD,FWD or AWD? Gimme some cold hard facts.......that thing is brutal ! :)

FWD SR20DE... yep its a Primera

Infinity G20 here, with different body panels. The older versions looked identical, the new(er) ones don't.

Well, i think anoyone has a right to call it ugly. just because it has a bad arse engine on the inside doesnt mean it has to look good on the outside. For instance IMO the NX2000 is ugly, but it has an SR and LSD and thats what makes it bad arse.

You don't live in Europe,neither do I ! Its different for one,and the potential of the SR20 is what makes it so desireable,not the actual stock performance of it,alot of things that are "nothing special" to us in the states is amazing to people in other countrys where they are extremely rare and different

I spend 1-2 months in Europe every summer. I'm pretty jaded on Primeras. I like them too, I just don't think its something to go :bowdown: over. 240sx is better.

not all primeras are FWD. there are 4wd primeras with sr20det motors. look at some rally races, im sure you can find them. the primera and the g20 do share the same chasis, and lots of everything else... the US versions just got different panels to look more like the other infiniti cars. the primera turbo has the same spec SR20 as the sunny GTi. all and all i think that was right.

I just like them,and don't think they are boring like said ford taurus,thats all,they are pretty cool,thats about it,it wouldn't be worth shipping over to states or anything

Ok, lets go over this once again, from the top.

That is a late model P11-primera. The early model P11 and the P10 were both sold here in the US. The body panel differences are minimal, especially with the P10, which had a different grill and slightly stubbier bumpers as the Primera. Later model P10's had chrome door handles and moldings due to Infiniti's attempt to move the car upmarket. The P11 Primera had a different hood (the split-nostril grill) and rear facia was slightly more luxury-oriented.

Factory Primera All-Wheel-Drives are extemely rare. They are designated T4 and were built in the UK. The AWD parts you commonly see are swapped from such cars as the Pulsar (or Sunny, depending on your market) GTi-R and the U13 Bluebird SSS, and the swap is not cheap.

Now, to address the comment about the G20/Primera being "boring". This is along the lines of the popular "its a Sentra with leather" comment. It shares some parts with the Sentra but is a completely different car. Once you drive it, you will understand that the car is NOT boring in any way, shape or form. The car is considered to be one of the best handling FWD cars ever, period. If you don't believe me, search Google, and you'll undestand. Make even minute changes to the softened US-spec G20 suspension, and you will fall in love.

4WD versions are non-turbo only. The Primera and the G20 are the same exact car, and share almost everything. Turbo Primeras are not exactly the same as Pulsar/Sunny GTi-R's. The Pulsar is a Monster SR20DET with 240hp. The Primeras are 2.0 turbo-diesels and are not SR's. The turbo Primeras/G20's you see are Avenir/Bluebird/Pulsar-swapped.

Actually, the two big pics are from the ITCC (Italy) and the ugly P11 is from some local Italian race :p.

I've loved P10's since I was a kid, which is why I get all freaked out about them :D.
