View Full Version : MO Possible ls1 swap/ rolling chassis for sale

Up for sale is my 1989 Nissan 240sx or ls1 swap. Im going to be very sad to see it go but right now my job is more important and im getting out of the car scene for awhile. Ive done 99% of the work. Daft innovations screwed me over and stole my money and all my harnesses i sent him to do the rewire. If he comes around and ships my harness out i will make a deal with you to buy it from me, but as of right now he is not answering my phone calls, emails, or texts. I sent him everything last June, so you can see my frustraion.
I started building this car since september of 10'. I took it down to a bare chassis pretty much. Everything was removed and cleaned. The under body was POR'd along with the interior from the front seats back.
I will show pics from this whole build process. This project was very expensive. People that have done this swap and done it right will know that it cost allot more then people think. I am willing to part out BUT right now i will only seperate the swap from the car. Complete swap i will sell for 7000 and rolling chasis with everything for 4000. Or the whole thing for 10k. Im in NO hurry to sell so please no lowballs!!
Car: 1989 Nissan 240sx Hatch
Motor: 5.7 Ls1 out of camaro
Trans: T56 6 speed out of 00' TA with 60k. Clutch has 60k.
Title: Clean and clear
What the car needs: New windshield, back glass put in Bn hatch, wiring harness(either get it back from daft and you can buy it from me or you can buy one yourself)

Reason i am selling: I simply dont have the time and patience to finish the car dealing with Rich @ Daft. As i live 2 hrs away from the car now and could use some extra money.

Things done to the car:
Ls1 swap with t56.
All DAFT mounting kit and power steering lines. Sway bar spacers. Wilwood clutch master. New slave cylinder with earls lines and remote bleeder(clutch system already bled)
Flywheel was resurfaced.
ARP rod bolts.
Megan racing track coilovers with 6k miles. All Godspeed adjustable arms front and back. Energy suspension RED subframe collars.
90mm kakimoto catback with all new exhaust tubing from headers back.
180sx Front end and side skirts
Bn Style inverted hatch
The car was just recently painted. Could really use a wet sand and buff.
Front end was tubbed. Engine bay was stripped and cleaned before paint and looks great!
Rear seat delete.
Battery relocated to the trunk with battery box.
Still has stock s13 seats.
Extended wheel studs in all four corners
Brake lines off master are stainless braided made at Springfield Brake.
160 degree thermostat(forgot brand)
Aftermarket coolant overflow catch can(forgot brand but very nice and paid 75.00)
ISIS radiator and isis dual fan setup with aluminum shroud(will only sell this if you buy the car and motor)
Pro 5.0 shifter( i sill have the original hurst if you want it)
GTO oil pan.
Tuned ecu by Ponco Joe for this swap.
I rewired the fuse box that is loacted by the battery tray into the car under the glovebox. All color coded wires.
I am most likely trading my 5 lug setup to go back to 4 lug but will come with 18x8.5 18x9.5 Sportmax 962s that are silver w ploished lips. Tires are in good condition.
This is the basics of whats done with it. There are still a ton more but this is what i can think of off the top of my head.

The bad: I was planning on replacing if i kept the car but the drivers side frame rail has rust in one area. Xcessive sells the exact replacement part for around 200 i believe. Just needs to be welded in.(total cost: around 400 for part and labor)

Price:10,000 for everything. 7000 for complete swap. 4000 for rolling chassis. Or trade for something that i could sell fat(ie s2000, 350z, g35, TL, etc)

shitty dealz on the harness situation. fantastic lookin project though. Type X fasty wit LS1 :3
