The bearing in the ac idler pulley crapped out on me so i took out the ac belt and the pulley.

with that being said,
Is not having the AC belt hooked up going to affect the heater? I could care less about the ac right now since its going to be getting cold soon, I'm just worried about freezing my ass off.

It won't effect the heater at all. Instead of using the dehumidified A/C air, it will use heat instead to defrost. Not a single difference at all.

Thanks codyace, but it seems that I have run into another problem now. The temperature control seems to be not working because when I try to use the heat now it just blows cool air no matter what temp setting it is on. . . any ideas?
