i'll be changing my clutch this saturday/friday and i'm in need of some info.

s13 redtop in 92 fastback
exedy single hyper clutch (6 puck/lightened flywheel)

1. What are the torque settings for the flywheel/bell housing...also what size torque wrench... 3/8 or 1/2 in drive?

2. What kind of extensions do you think i'll need for the impact gun... how long in length? (im thinking i'm going to unbolt the tranny mount and raise the car up as high as possible. See if I can tilt the motor back so i can see the tranny bolts on the bell housing.)

3. So in total off all the parts I should have as part of the clutchkit/assembly
-Throw out bearing
-Clutch alignment tool
-Pressure plate
-clutch itself (6 puck exedy =D)
-Flywheel

4. What sizes are the tranny bolts etc...
I could've sworn they were 17mm/19/21/ ?!?

5. Tranny fluid....2.8 quarts?
im goinging with redline 50w250 heavy...something or other anti-shock gear oil. unless someone says otherwise?

6. Anything else i should replace/do while its out...andi'm down in that area...?

1. the torque specs are in the S14 FSM in the tech sections of this site

2. trans removal is all 17 and 19 bolts for bellhousing 12 for slave cyl and i cannot remember for the starter

3. unbolt exaust at downpipe it will give you the extra tilt to get at the bolts with an impact gun

4. if you cannot get it with an impact the top mst bolts are able to be removed via open end wrench from the top and a whole lot of beating with a hammer

5. I used a 1/2" torque wrench for my bolts

6. for extra tilt loosen your motor mounts and (if you have an aluminium oil pan) jack the front of the motor up to get some extra movement

We meet there from 130-300 ish.. at stonestown on 19th...not ortega gas station. A lot of times if we're not there, we'll be back in less than 30 minutes, we run from stonestown on 19th usually back to geary and franklin just near japantown. We then run back on geary to park presideo to stonestown again. Usually around 3ish we're already headed to or about to head to 3comm or brotherhood.

you should just spend $15 on a haynes manual.
