please answer as if its for a DD...im not doing performance any time soon. thanks

ok here's the back ground. just bought the car. it has 200k+ on the body, engine has less, but not sure how much (DOHC). i want to start getting everything together to do a tune up. i am looking at prices and they very drastically between brands. exampl...valve cover gasket..felpro..23.99 or beck/arnley 52.99.....now i know im getting the felpro as i used them on my supercharged v-8 with no problems. but double the price...really? i know some thing will be better and thats where my questions are...like fuel filter they vary in price from 10-15 on up. air filters are another....just regular filter not performance. i pretty much know what m doing with those as well my realy questions are below...

oil...dont know how many miles on on the engine...do i save money and go with regular oil...or do i bump to synthetic? since i dont know the milage do i go regular or high milage?

5 spd..tranny oil...75W-90 Gl-4...do i do the 75 or do i go 80?
rear diff....75w-90 GL-5...do i go 75 or 80?...i have an se but i dont think i have a VLSD.

caps and rotor....they have all kinds of prices...best for the KA?

here is my list..feel free to add to it incase i missed something.

Fix the Rattle (timing chain on guides):

im not a total noob, but its been 5 years. i dont remember the brands the ol KA liked the best, plus last time i had the SOHC and was broke lol. i just want the engine to rull well and stay doing that for a while. not much worried about added power its already fast than my last one lol. thanks in advance
