yea you read it right

I managed to strip the oil feed threads on the block. now I need to repair them but I am worried about getting metal shavings in the oil passage.

is helicoiling a wise idea in this situation? anyone ever have to do this before.

Helicoiling or bringing it into a machine shop is the best idea....

I was thinking about taping it for standard that way I could get a earls adapter so I don't have to use this stupid banjo fitting I am using now

(have a "custom" oil feed for my t3 setup)

When you start up the engine, all the oil will shoot out the shavings.
