Offset too high??

Getting some rims that have a offset of 42... would this offset be too high for 235 tires all around for a s14???

if you have coilovers you will proabably rub, and just the fact that the wheels will look really sunk. what width are the rims

Agreed; Unless the width of the wheel was 6" or 6.5" (which probably wouldn't fit a 235 tire), they will more likely than not rub on your suspension... not to mention look absolutely ASSALICIOUS on your car. :D

So yes. they're too high. Ideally, you'd put 235s on an 8" wide wheel with +30 (I'd prefer +20 or +25) offset. That should clear everything unless you have wide fenders, in which case you'd probably need a 25mm spacer. :)
