i was thinking that it can be the MAF, but i have no other maf to test it out with, own couple of fwd det, and when the maf is bad it usually start up fine and quickly idles down and cut out.

u can just try to unplug the wire from the maf ..if the idle become smoother than that for sure its the maf or could be the ground ..that happen to me before after i replaced the IACV

So I use a p10 maf and still the car don't wanna stay on, if I hold the gas pedel down it will stay on at 250 rpm, that's rite 250 rpm.. There's no check engine light and the ecu doesnt have a diagnostic light for me to figure
Out if it's in limp mode... I thought it can be the safc2, but that wasent it either.. So I'm running out of ideas..

Huge boost leak? Loose intercooler coupler? Leaky o-ring on fuel injector?
Have you checked compression?

All the intercooler couplings are still intact, I pull off the injectors and all the I rings are still good, no rips at all... And still I'm sump....

Update: so after checking all the work and reading on other forms: I completely took of the iacv and ran the car, it stays on idling at 500 rpm but no throttle response. So I'm thinking that it can be the iacv but they go for $300. And i don't want replace it with the new one and it doesnt work. So any one encouter this before? I clean the iacv ran the car with it off, and still it's the same..
