I'm selling my 2001 Honda Civic EX/Si. This car has served me well but I am getting a 4wd for the winter and can only have one car on campus down here in Bloomington. I live up in Fort Wayne, so I can meet you there or even maybe a little farther north if it's worth my while.

This is a 2001 Honda Civic ex/si with 149k miles. It is a beautiful midnight blue metallic that will dazzle the ladies and is loaded with every option from power Windows and locks to a power moon roof. SWEET.

Cool things:
D17A2 VTEC mated to a 5-speed Transmission (only 88k on this)
17" MSR 029 wheels with a Gunmetal Metallic finish
Brand new tires! 215/45/17
30+ MPG YAY

Not So Cool Things:
Has a big scrape as seen in pictures
3rd gear grinds every once in a while
It's FWD...


It has a few dents and scrapes from being a ten year old car and has 149k miles, with only 88k on the new motor. Need to sell this by the end of the week. Buy this car from a dealer for $7995, or from me for around half that!

Thank you guys for the free bumps I appreciate it. The 2001 Honda Civic was sold in the United States as a Honda Civic Ex, and in Canada under the same trim as an Si, and as listed as dual-trim as such from the factory and on the title.

Thus I can tell the truth and still have ignorant fools like you bump my thread straight to the top. Thank you!

Why yes gentlemen, the car is an EX/Si as listed in my ad, and as it has been listed since Day 1. Read the ad and you would understand this.

ok lets clear this up. The Si trim, which stands for "Sequential Injection" or "Sport Injected," was introduced for the third generation of Honda Civics in both Japan and North America. In Canada the trim became known as the SiR for the sixth and seventh generations, and the Si trim was equivalent to the USDM EX model. but your not in canada and this car is a usdm ex not ex/si. your ad is very misleading and if a dealership were to sell a car under the same impression you are they would likely be facing a law suit. just because you were suckered into buying this under false pretenses doesnt mean you should sell it like that. to top it off if you do a little google search you will learn that the si was not released to the usdm market until 2002. so go somewhere else with your EX..

Its not a canada car, if it were, youd be selling for a lot more considering you would have had to spend money legalizing the car. There for its an EX only. It has Absolutely no Si features what so ever.
