For a single plate clutch? I prefer ACT HD-SS full-face, handles 372 lb/ft of torque and is what I use. For single plate clutches for street use, I think full-face is best IMHO. I'd have no issue rocking an Exedy, ACT, Competition Clutch, or Clutch Masters. I have no personal experience with double or triple plate clutches, but were I to buy one for my SR: OS Giken, Exedy, NISMO, or Competition Clutch would be my first choices. Keep in mind, everyone will have a personal opinion on what is best.

I have the same motor and basically same mods exept the pulleys. I'm running exedy stage one, does the job. Kinda want something else to be honest though

IMO best bang for the buck ACT
if you have the money to spend, Exedy or OS Giken

I have found puck clutches to be less than ideal for street use, esp. in ATL traffic...a puck clutch (even sprung) sucks big time in bumper-to-bumper traffic. I prefer my car to be somewhat user friendly on the street so maybe it's just me. I know many people use puck clutches without a hitch. I've hated every one I've ever used, for racing use, they are usually the better choice. My car isn't a track car though, if it was, I would drop the coin for a double/triple plate clutch before using a puck.

ive had an os giken twin plate and i loved it. its stiff as hell with only about half an inch to an inch of throw and it snaps hard. pretty much indestructable. right now i have a spec stage two with a fidanza flywheel and its pretty stiff as well but there is more of a clutch throw and its also cheaper. its really whatever you like and what you can afford. just dont go with any cheap shit like oem clutches

You said the best...well that's the best your money can get thats off the shelf.
Now if you don't wanna be balling out of control...ACT 6 puck sprung should be more than enough to do the trick. That or Exedy stage 2 are my pick if you're in a budget and don't wanna drop money on single plate clutches.
I've run Spec stage 3, Exedy stage 2, ACT 6 puck unsprung (get a damn sprung one for daily so you won't hate life), ORC 409D and was running a rebuild Os Giken TS2B last (swapping flywheel and gonna be running the same clutch into my RB25).

Specs been too fucking iffy the last 8 yrs now. Too many people's clutch just literally falling apart. Damn dampened clutch plates just obliterating themselves for no apparent reason.

cars less than 400 hp i like my act unsprung 6 puck rides nice and grabs for the love of god! but its easy to dd and its not like the horror stories everyone says about unsprung. it seriously feels like my oem sr20det sprung disk w/ a oem pressure plate just a tiny bit more aggressive. overall the act 6 puck unsprung would be my choice out of the 4 clutch setups ive been through such as exedy, oem, act 6 puck sprung, custom 6 sprung w/ oem pressure plate, and this unsprung 6 puck act!
