opinions please

I recently bought another s14 its was a bone stock ka i put a intake kit on it,headers, 2.5" exhaust, and converted it to e86 to make it a little more fun. here is the problem though... i already have a s14 with a vq35 in it so i don't need a lot of power that's going to be the track car and the ka car is also an automatic so.....

i want to make it a little more fun and i have a few different choices
1:swap the auto for a 5spd
2:motor swap
3:give up and enjoy it
4:sell it

keep in mind i don't need anything super fast i just need something to keep the car fun. so what would you guys recommend?

Keep the auto and go bracket racing.

1) 5 speed swap.
2) weld the diff
3) inexpensive coils
4) cheap bucket seat (corbeau)
5) wheels and tires.
6) drift till something breaks, replace
7) keep drifting
8) wreck the car
9) rebuild
10) drift

plus 1 ^ or put some hotter cams in some 370cc inj, light flyweel, idk you dont need a fully built car to have fun its how you drive it ( I guess)

yea just ditch the auto, maybe a lightweight flywheel, maybe some ITB's that would be pretty cool IMO

Ditto. Maybe something like a Frontier to tow your more modded car around and just generally not be ratty like a 240...

But if you insist on keeping it, go 5spd with 4.636 final drive ratio/ring & pinion with a good clutch & flywheel. After coilovers, wheels/tires and welded or J30 diff, cut your losses and call it a day.
