Value of a Ka24de?

I was offered a ka24de, stock, with a somewhat messed with ecu wiring harness with about 70K miles for $800-$900.  Its with the tranny.

I need to know if it is worth it for my car. I have an 90 (ka24e, single overhead cam)

first off, am i getting ripped?
second of all, is it that much better?

THats a horrible Deal don't buy it!  But tell me who is selling it, whats there phone number.  Just kidding i have no clue but i want a S14 KA24DE for mine

seems a little high i'd talk him down to 600. that is if it's in good condition including the ECU
