Will the rear suspension of an 89 300ZX fit into a 90 model 300ZX and if not which ones will?

taking the rear suspesion out of the 89 and putting it in the 90

k jus did some quik research for ya.  they guys at TT.net said that the 89 and 90 are two diff. cars.   90's totally redesigned from the ground up...especially the chasis.  the 90's wheelbase is longer than the 89's.  suspension parts for z32 and z31 are a bit different from each other.

1990 Z32, rock on, check out the Stillen shit, allexcept the there Turbo's, Internal wastegates =  crap.

1989 300zx z32? Z32 where made in 1989, only after june or was it july can't remember.

Z31 suspension was weaker then the Z32, or so I heard. Well, we all know how much Nissan developed the Z32, opposed to the Z31. Why would you not like the '90 suspension?

Nah I was checking for a friend of mine was planning on helping him work on his car and he wrecked the 90 model and had an 89 sitting in the yard and thats the reason I wanted to know if it would fit because that would save him about $500 if it did, but I know now that it wont because the car is wider and everything but thanks for your help.

1989= Z31

1990= Z32

Very very different cars.  The suspension from the 89 is not capable with the 90.  Stock springs and shocks are pretty cheap.  Call around to diferent dealers and then check with courtesy Nissan at  www.courtesynissan.com
