file sharer woes

Anybody out there use iMesh or Morpheus?  
I have both d/l'd onto my computer and I used to use them pretty extensively.  But now neither of them will let me connect.  Everytime I push the "Search" button on iMesh, it says I'm not connected...push the "Connect" button  and try again and it does the same thing.  Morpheus won't even let me push the "Search" button--it's grayed out.
Anybody know what the #### is going on?

virus? or maybe the government is cracking down on the file sharing servers? i don't know. i have used any of those types of things for a while.

morpheus does that for me from time to time.  I don't know why but it (usually) starts working again after I restart morpheus a couple times.

it's not the government b/c I know other people are still using it.
I just openen and closed it like 5 times in a row and it still won't let me do anything...it's been like this for a couple of weeks....my  CD burner is getting dusty.:(

just checked mine.
Its working ok but when i tried to set it up for a friend the other day it said it was waiting for a court case ruling and would be off for a bit.
I normally use kazaa.

Mine works ok too.  Maybe it's blocking you because you got mp3s of a certain people, cuz that's what Napster did a while ago.

i used to use imesh.. but to my knowledge..they were shut down... i thought!.. ####,, if i'm wrong, tell me.. i'll redownload them

as for morpheus.. that happens to me sometimes, but it fixes itself when i quit and reopen it.. Try unintalling.. restarting.. then intalling it again...

I uninstalled and reinstalled both and they still won't work.  What are some other good  file sharers?  What's  kazaa?...where do I d/l it?

Kazaa is not available for download right now because they are being sued. They sold the company, and the new owners (in Australia) should have it up for dowload again soon. Try Kazaa.com (http://www.kazaa.com).

imesh has been known to bring up many problems in peoples computers.

morpheus seems to be the best now other than kazzaa wich i find to be better support even though they are the sam program really
