Sorry for all the basic questions, but this one I need some help with--
When I bought the car it came with a stock exhaust, mated to a aftermarket dump pipe and turbo manifold, stock t25 turbo.
The owner has a receipt from a performance shop and they had written "noisy turbo" as one of their comments.
When the engine is running it is loud and right away creates a bad carbon/petrol (gas) smell. I asked the owner what is up with that and he didn't think anything bad of it.
Do these engines/turbos usually leak from a common spot?
